What is it about Australian radio that makes it suck so much? It annoys me that great music gets overlooked for mediocre crap that is played ad nauseum.
I discovered this next track through the magic of the internet...on the blog of the All Music guide to be exact, and NOT from radio. This is a song that should have been huge. It's a great indie pop tune from a US band called The Format that has all the elements that work together to make a great summer classic. The band made a first EP, imaginatively titled "EP", along with two LPs before splitting in the late 2000s.
This track, called "The First Single" is brilliant. Enjoy.
